Arturo Ortega (Jocotepec, Jal.) – Holding hands, about 100 people from more than three municipalities took the oath as representatives of committees of the National Regeneration Movement, or MORENA, party. They are organizing for the coming Popular Consultation for the Revocation of Mandate.
District 17 Delegate Luis Fernando Perez Rivera said that prior to the recall referendum proposed by President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, the committees will invite people to participate in the recall referendum and that those people will recruit more to join the cause.
The goal is to form 441 committees in the 15 municipalities of the 17th electoral district. These committees will defend the Fourth Transformation and publicize its achievements, such as the austerity policy and intolerance to corruption.
Next year the National Electoral Institute will be in charge of carrying out the Popular Consultation for the Revocation of Mandate.
