Editor. – José Luis R. was arrested Feb. 14 in Jocotepec by officers  of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office due to his probable participation in the crimes of domestic violence and intentional injuries. 

According to prosecutors, José Luis R. assaulted his partner and accused her of stealing money from him. When the children tried to intervene, they were also assaulted. The victim’s sister was threatened with a machete.

An agent of the Public Prosecutor’s Office investigated the incident as a gender crime and gained enough evidence to request an arrest warrant against the man.
